A. Smart 1080p Pan & Tilt IP Camera


How to configure the Kyla Smart 1080p Pan & Tilt IP Camera?

Please follow this procedure:

1. Install the Aztech Kyla app from App Store or Google Play on your smartphone.

2. Power on the device and wait for about 15 seconds until you hear “Please use mobile phone for WiFi configuration”.

3. If you hear “Please wait for WiFi connecting”, press the reset on the back of the device for 8 seconds to restore its factory settings. Wait for the device to restart, and until you hear “Please use mobile phone for WiFi configuration”.

4. Launch the Aztech Kyla app, tap the + symbol, tap Camera , then tap KIPC-120-WF.

5. Scan QR code at the back of the camera, and tap Add device.

6. Wait for the camera to connect to the Aztech Kyla app. Upon successful connection, the LED lights up in Blue and you hear, “Connect Success”. The camera shows up on the app.

I heard "Connect Success", but I can't find the camera on the Aztech Kyla app. What can I do?

1. Return to the device list.

2. Tap "Add device by scanning QR code".

3. Scan QR code at the back of the camera, and tap Add device .

How does the Kyla Smart 1080p Pan & Tilt IP Camera connect to the router if I change to a new router?

1. Remove the existing camera on the Aztech Kyla app.

2. Connect the camera to the app and router again.

What’s the Input Power for the camera?

5V 2A via Micro USB.

What do the LED colours represent?

Why does it show ‘Already connected to another account’ when it is configured to Aztech Kyla?

Please remove the camera on your existing Aztech Kyla account, then pair it with your new account.

Why is the Kyla Smart 1080p Pan & Tilt IP Camera shown as offline sometimes?

The WiFi might be disconnected or not available. You may try to restart the router to reconnect the camera.

What’s the maximum number of Kyla Smart 1080p Pan & Tilt IP Cameras can I add?

You can add up to twenty (20) cameras.

Can the Kyla Smart 1080p Pan & Tilt IP Camera operate at night?

Yes, the camera can also be used at night. Its night vision monitoring effective distance is up to six (6) meters.

What is the coverage angle of the lens on the Kyla Smart 1080p Pan & Tilt IP Camera?

The monitoring perspective is at 113°.

Can I see the camera through the web browser?

No, the camera cannot be seen through the web browser.

What does the motion detection feature mean?

It means that the camera will automatically detect and capture the abnormal sound and movement of the monitoring area, and send to the phone.

Can I store videos on the cloud service?

Yes, you can store videos on the cloud service, but it is a chargeable service.

What’s the panning angle of the camera?

What’s the tilting angle of the camera?

What is the maximum memory card capacity that can be used?

B. Smart 720p IP Camera


How to configure the Smart 720P IP Camera?

You have to follow the steps below:

1. Download Aztech Kyla app from App Store or Google Play.

Press and hold the ON/OFF button on Smart 720P IP Camera until you hear the message; “Please use mobile phone for Wi-Fi configuration”. (If you hear the message as; “Please wait for Wi-Fi connecting”, you will have to restore the factory setting by inserting a sharp object to the reset button on the back of the device for eight (8) seconds until you hear the message; “Please use mobile phone for Wi-Fi configuration”.)

3. Open Aztech Kyla app and tap “+” symbol at the top right corner.

4. Select “Smart IP Camera” follow by “KIPC-110-WF”.

5. Scan QR code and click “Add device”

6. Wait for the camera to connect to Aztech Kyla. Upon connection successful, the LED light will change to Blue and you will hear the message; “Connect Success” and the camera will show on Aztech Kyla.

What should I do if I cannot find the camera on Aztech Kyla after configuration?

1. Return back to the device list

2. Click "Add device by scanning QR code"

3. Scan QR code and click “Add device”.

What should I do if the configuration has failed?

  • Ensure your Android devices have updated to OS version 4.0 and above
  • Check your smart phone and Wi-Fi connection to search for your router
  • Ensure you have entered the right password for Wi-Fi.
  • Ensure your router supports wireless IEEE802.11b/g/n standard.
  • Ensure you have entered the right user name of the internet.
  • Ensure your router security mechanism is WEP, WPA-PSK or WPA2-PSK, we recommend WPA/WPA2.
  • Ensure you have an available IP for the router, if not you can disconnect other device and try it again.
  • Ensure the Smart 720P IP Camera is not connected to other accounts.

    1. Remove the existing camera on Aztech Kyla app.

  • Why am I having trouble adding new device to the Kyla app on my Android phone?

    Please toggle off the data service before starting the pairing process using WiFi. After the successful initial pairing, you can use data service as you normally would.
