You have to allow Aztech Kyla to access the location permission on the setting of your mobile phone.

Why I did not receive any notifications from Aztech Kyla?

Please follow the steps below to set-up the notification setting:

1. Go to the setting of Aztech Kyla, enable the "Timing execution reminder".

2. Make sure you are in "Arming outside" or "Arming at home" mode.

How to configure the Smart IR Cube?

You have to follow the steps below:

1. Download Aztech Kyla app from App Store or Google Play.

2. Press and hold the power on button on the Smart IR Cube for six (6) seconds until the LED light flashes rapidly in Red light.

3. Open Aztech Kyla app and tap “+” on the top right corner.

4. Select “Remote” follow by “KIRB-110-WF” then “Next”.

5. Select “Aztech Kyla_AP” from the network list.

6. Return to Aztech Kyla app to key-in the password of your router or modem for Wi-Fi or internet access and tap “Connect”.

7. Wait for sixty (60) seconds for the Aztech Kyla app to search for your Smart IR Cube.

No, the infrared signal might be absorbed by the wall therefore you may need a separate Smart IR Cube for different room.

Why does the Smart IR Cube show offline sometimes?

The Wi-Fi connection might be disconnected or not available. You may try to restart the router to connect back the Smart IR Cube.

You have to follow the steps below:

    Press and hold the ON/OFF button on Smart 720P IP Camera until you hear the message; “Please use mobile phone for Wi-Fi configuration”. (If you hear the message as; “Please wait for Wi-Fi connecting”, you will have to restore the factory setting by inserting a sharp object to the reset button on the back of the device for eight (8) seconds until you hear the message; “Please use mobile phone for Wi-Fi configuration”.)

    3. Open Aztech Kyla app and tap “+” symbol at the top right corner.

    4. Select “Smart IP Camera” follow by “KIPC-120-WF”.


    5. Scan QR code and click “Add device”


    6. Wait for the camera to connect to Aztech Kyla. Upon connection successful, the LED light will change to Blue and you will hear the message; “Connect Success” and the camera will show on Aztech Kyla.

    What should I do if I cannot find the camera on Aztech Kyla after configuration?

    Smart Door Lock requires 10 pcs of AA batteries which is about 7.5V and it also has an emergency power supply of 5V that can be charging by power bank with USB type-C cable.

    You can press the reset button two (2) times and the LED light will blink in blue light, then press another two (2) times and hold for three (3) seconds each until the LED light blink twice.

    B. Smart Smoke Sensor

    How to replace the battery for Smart Smoke Sensor? What is the model of the battery used?

    You have to remove the Smart Smoke Sensor and turn it at the anticlockwise direction to replace the battery. It is using CR123A lithium battery.

    How do I check the battery level?

    You can use the methods below to check on the battery level. 


  • Method A: Check the battery level on the Aztech Kyla app. The app will also send an alert to the user when the battery level is below 20%.

  • Method B: Check the LED light flash Red light and the alarm rings once every fifty-three (53) seconds, it means the battery is running low.

    What should I do if I did not receive the alert after the alarm of the sensor rings?

    You have to follow the steps below:


    1. Check if the current alarm is recorded in the Aztech Kyla app.


    2. If it is recorded, please ensure the Notification is turn on in the setting.


    3. Add the device again if the phone fails to receive the alarm.

    How to reset the Smart Smoke Sensor?

    Press and hold the reset button for five (5) seconds and the LED light will flash slowly for three (3) seconds.

    



    C. Smart Water Leakage Sensor

    What is the power supply for Smart Water Leakage Sensor?

    The Smart Water Leakage Sensor is using a CR2032 battery which is about 3V.

    How do I check the battery level?

    You may check the battery level on the Aztech Kyla app. The app will also send an alert to the user when the battery level is below 20%.

    How to reset the Smart Water Leakage Sensor?

    Press and hold the reset button for five (5) seconds and the LED light will flash slowly for three (3) seconds.


    D. Smart Gas Sensor

    What is the power supply for Smart Gas Sensor?

    The power supply for Smart Gas Sensor is from 100V to 240V.

    How to install the Smart Gas Sensor?

    You have to check the density of the gas against the air where you want to place the device at.

  • For location that the gas is heavier than the air, such as liquefied petroleum gas: the placement of the Smart Gas Sensor should be 0.3-1.0 meter above the ground and not more than 1.5 meter from the radius of the gas source.
  • For location that the gas is lighter than the air, such as natural gas, artificial gas and methane: the placement of the Smart Gas Sensor should be 0.3-1.0 meter below the ceiling and not more than 1.5 meter from the radius of the gas source.

    What should I do if I did not receive the alert after the alarm of the sensor rings?

    You have to follow the steps below:

    1. Check if the current alarm is recorded in the Aztech Kyla app.

    2. If it is recorded, please ensure the Notification is turn on in the setting.

    3. Add the device again if the phone fails to receive the alarm.

    What are the things to take note of when using the Smart Combustible Gas Sensor?

  • To conduct at least one test on the device every week by:

    1. Press the test button

    2. Alarm sound off

    3. Alert notice send to Aztech Kyla app

  • To clean the gas convection window once every three (3) months using a brush and a small amount of detergent then conduct a test after the cleaning. 


    Prevent the detergent from entering the body of the device.

  • Replace the sensor after five (5) years

    How to reset the Smart Gas Sensor?

    Press and hold the reset button for five (5) seconds and the LED light will flash slowly for three (3) seconds.


    E. Smart Emergency Button

    How to replace the battery for Smart Emergency Button? What is the model of the battery used?

    You have to open the back lid of the Smart Emergency Button to replace the battery. It is using CR2032 button cell.

    How do I check the battery level?

    You may check the battery level on the Aztech Kyla app. The app will also send an alert to the user when the battery level is below 20%.

    How to disable the emergency alarm?

    You cannot disable emergency alarm manually. The emergency alarm will be active for three (3) minutes before it return to normal.

    What should I do if the device is not working?

    The power supply for Smart Temperature & Humidity Sensor is DC 3V. It is using CR2450 battery.

    How do I check the battery level?

    You may check the battery level on the Aztech Kyla app. The app will also send an alert to the user when the battery level is below 20%.
